PickleUp is intended for users in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you are located in the United States. We do not knowingly offer services to, or collect personal information from, individuals located outside the United States.

Push Notification Tokens: With your permission, we collect device tokens to send you push notifications about game updates, messages, and invitations.
Google Places API: We use Google Places API to provide location search and autocomplete features. When you use location search, your query is sent to Google.
Apple and Google Authentication: When you use Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive basic profile information as described above.

If PickleUp is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Note: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA (such as passwords, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health data). Authentication is handled through Apple and Google OAuth, and we do not store user passwords.

We do not disclose personal information to data brokers, advertising networks, or third parties for their own marketing purposes.
California "Shine the Light" Law: Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. PickleUp does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do NOT sell your personal information. We do NOT share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to opt out because we don't engage in these practices.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Montana, Oregon, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their data.
If we deny your privacy request, you may appeal by contacting us with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." We will respond to appeals within 45 days.
Before You Delete: You must cancel any games you're hosting or leave any games you've confirmed attendance for. This ensures other participants are not disrupted by unexpected cancellations. The app will prevent account deletion if you have active upcoming games.
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings in the app. When you initiate deletion, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period.
When you request account deletion, you have a 30-day grace period to cancel the deletion request and restore your account. You can cancel deletion at any time during this period by signing back into the app with Apple or Google - your account will be automatically reactivated. After 30 days, deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed.
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format. You can export your data at any time through your account settings in the app.
What's Included: All personal data associated with your account, including your profile, activity history, communications, and settings.
PickleUp offers optional Premium subscriptions through in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled securely through Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).
Refund requests are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective refund policies:

PickleUp is based in the United States. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
PickleUp is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that account and all associated information.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at support@pickleup.app so we can delete the account.
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information using commercially reasonable means, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PickleUp requests the following device permissions:

You can modify these permissions at any time in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit certain features but won't prevent you from using the core Service.
PickleUp does NOT:
Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We do not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies, so we do not request tracking permission under ATT.
With your permission, we send push notifications to keep you updated about game-related activities and events.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or in the app's Settings screen. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the app, but you may miss important updates about your games.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices.
When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may notify you through the app or other available means. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
